Version

Version is a REinterpretation of something that in the end provides a significant detectable difference.

Everything in human world can have versions. This is because through time human’s biggest business is trying to define and finalise things as what they termed “universality”. Even the term “universality” is a version of a referent.

Postmodern interpretation of discourse criticise this human behaviour by stating that their finalisation of things only creates another version of truth. It holds the celebration of the fact that there is no such thing as “truth” but only “versions of truth”. This being so makes a nonsense of the search for truth.

However, the postmodern celebration of versions of truth is actually only another version of truth in human world. Yet again they have defined and tried to finalise by saying that it’s only “another version”.

These versions, perhaps, do not exist outside the imaginations of those who yearn for them.
